102.3 Clear FM is thrilled to welcome the Northern Pikes to the McPhillips Station Casino on Thursday, February 9th, 2012.

All original members Don Schmid, Jay Semko, Bryan Potvin and Merl Bryck reunited in December 1999 to assemble a greatest hits package for Virgin Records. That meeting saw the release of a collection of old favorites and buried treasures, entitled Hits and Assorted Secrets. It also led to a hugely successful Canadian tour in early 2000, some of which was recorded and resulted in The Northern Pikes Live, an album’s worth of tunes from various shows in Ontario and Quebec. This in turn led to the decision to record a new studio album in Toronto during the fall of 2000. Truest Inspiration was released in 2001, the Pikes’ first studio album in 8 years. The title track from that album became a hit in Japan and The Pikes embarked on a short but intensive tour in the land of the rising sun in late June 2003, including a Canada Day party at the Canadian Embassy. Shortly after the Japanese tour the guys began work on It’s A Good Life, released in December 2003. This would sadly be the last project the four original members would record together – Merl would announce his a departure from the group a few short years later. Jay, Bryan, Don & Ross, still experiencing the passion and joy of performance have continued touring.

Multi-Platinum group Lady Antebellum announced today that their OWN THE NIGHT 2012 WORLD TOUR will roll into Winnipeg at MTS Centre on March 13. The tour will feature Darius Rucker and special guest Thompson Square. Fans can purchase tickets at www.livenation.com beginning Monday, December 5th at 10am.

"We can't wait for 2012 and our first big headlining tour in arenas," said Hillary Scott.  "We hope to create a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience and make some really special memories with our fans."

102.3 CLEAR FM is thrilled to welcome Hedley to the MTS Centre on Wednesday, March 17th.

Hedley is a Canadian pop rock band comprising lead singer Jacob Hoggard, Tommy Mac on bass, Dave Rosin on guitar and Chris Crippin on drums. The current band retains the original name of Hoggard's pre-Canadian Idol group, although the membership has changed. The band originated in Abbotsford, British Columbia. They were named after the town of Hedley, British Columbia, a name chosen after members heard that it was for sale for $346,000.[citation needed] While the idea of buying the town ran its course, the name remained. There are also rumors that the name "Hedley" originated from Hedley Street in Abbotsford, the hometown of Jacob Hoggard

On a late night in the spring of 1827 the city of Vienna is experiencing the largest lightning storm in its long history. Within a large disheveled room, Ludwig Von Beethoven is slumped over his piano and on the piano sits the just completed manuscript for his Tenth Symphony. It is his final, and he is certain, his greatest work. As the clock strikes midnight, Mephistopheles appears to collect the great composer's soul. Looking into the abyss of eternity Beethoven is horrified but the devil has an offer and the bargaining begins.
So begins TSO's live performance of "Beethoven's Last Night" in its entirety. Come experience the tale of Beethoven's last night on earth. Combining what happened with what might have happened, the story revolves around the tough choice that the composer must make with what will be his life's legacy.
