Craig Pfeifer
My name is Craig Pfeifer. I’m the Music Director and Assistant Program Director here at 102.3 CLEAR FM.
I’m the official go to guy whenever one of the other announcers goes on holidays.
I've been in the radio business for some 20 years. For most of my career I've been on the West Coast, in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. I was actually born here in Winnipeg, although my family moved out West when I was 4.
I’m married with children, 4 of them… I have my two older sons (Shayne and Keaghan), my three year old daughter Maille (pronounced My-Lee) and our youngest, another boy, Declan who is one and already walking.
My wife Sharon grew up in rural Manitoba and went to High School in Winnipeg. Both of us have extended family here, so despite the weather, it was an easy choice to trade in our rain gear for parkas and make this Great City our new home.
As a sports enthusiast, I cheer loudest for the Vancouver Canucks and it’s great to be able to support the Moose - their Farm Team. And funny even though I've been away for over 30 years, I've always considered the Bombers my home team!
My favourite things to do when I'm not pouring over music at Clear FM are playing ball hockey with my kids, watching the NHL and NFL, researching my family tree, playing my guitar and sharing a bottle of wine with my wife (not necessarily in that order).
We're loving it here in Winnipeg, its a great place to raise kids and a great place to be in Radio. Thanks for listening!
