For the past 20 plus years, I’ve had the chance to work in the job of my dreams !
Ever since I was little girl, I have always said, I wanted to someday end up in radio.
(Might have something to do with my Mother doing some broadcasting for the CBC !) I can remember going to the studio with my Mom, and watching her tape various program’s…and being completely enthralled with what was happening. Guess I couldn’t believe you could get “paid” for having a big mouth ! Speaking of which……
I recently came across an old high school aptitude test. I had been given the test because my big mouth kept landing me in trouble at school. The final comments on it read exactly this……..”Kathy’s, goal of becoming a news broadcaster is well within her reach. It’s something she should definitely pursue.”
Now, here we are some 24 years later...
